Michael Abeyta is a serial entrepreneur, and brings much early-stage start up experience from Silicon Valley to the UK and Europe.  He started his career in Santa Clara, California, where he managed a $40mm product line in the semiconductor software design industry. 

 

He later founded a company in the early days of electronic publishing (Thought Co.), creating digital versions of popular books.   Mike later spotted the opportunities in the burgeoning ecommerce and internet space, and became the first product manager for a shopping engine company, which was subsequently sold to Inktomi, a pioneering internet company, and later acquired by Yahoo!  

 

He moved to London from San Francisco to help build Inktomi’s European headquarters and subsequently managed business development for Yahoo! Search Marketing in London. Most recently he co-founded Akesios Search Analytics, a company that created an award-winning platform to manage search engine marketing for small and medium sized businesses.Mike holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Utah and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. In his free time he enjoys craft beer (and food), musical instruments, and football (of all types)!
