ANDREW JERVIS

CO-FOUNDER OF CLICK MECHANIC

Brought up on the Isle of Man, Andrew attended school in Yorkshire and the USA before undertaking his 2:1 (Hons) undergraduate business degree at Lancaster University.

Andrew then spent time working for an AIM listed offshore bank before starting his first start up, an online automotive parts business called QuickHubs. In 2011 he embarked on a Masters of Enterprise at the University of University of Manchester. While at Manchester, Andrew became Vice President of the Enterprise Society, graduated with a Distinction and launched PieBoy Clothing, an Urban Student Fashion Brand which won contracts to supply some of the biggest Universities in the UK (this now stands at 12 Universities). PieBoy still trades today, under the stewardship of a new team while Andrew has stepped away from the day to day activities.

Despite the success of PieBoy, Andrew wanted to target the bigger problem of car repair in the UK, which he identified while running his former parts business. This ambition closely matched the goals of London based technology accelerator Entrepreneur First, and returning to the automotive industry he co-founded ClickMechanic with the aim of making car repair easy.
